On his way to the mage, he explores numerous cities and settlements, performing side quests that would decide the outcome of the conficts raging within the continent.
Once arrived in the mainlan, The Hero's first goal is to make contact with Xardas, so that he could elaborate on his brief words he used durning their previous encounter aboard Esmeralda. Orcs have almost completely taken over the kingdom of Myrthana, occupying nearly all farms, villages and cities, and are in cooperation with Zuben, the mighty ruler of Hashinshin, and with Xardas, who with no regard for Nameless' stance on this matter, have struck a deal with the orcs in order to make his research easier. Main theme of the game revolves around War of Gods, a conflict between Innos, Adanos and Beliar.
